EPW - Longines, Swiss, 44mm, two-tone 18K green and white gold with vertical black enamel stripes inlaid to rear, black enamel stripes inlaid to band, crown with onyx cabochon, two-tone silvered and green gilt dial with vertical black stripes similar to case rear, marked "Longines 16 Jewels" within seconds-register, SW-SS, lever escapement, 16J, wheel satin nickel finish, cal 18.95M, s#4331836 with matching serial number within case. Gross weight of assembled watch 32.6 dwt (50.7 g). An unusual dress watch with dramatic eye appeal and a pleasing congruence between its Art Deco case and dial designs.
CONDITION:
Mvt: Running, fine-plus cosmetic mvt condition overall, plates with some scattered fine to micro-fine scratches, some toning and haze spotting; excellent dial with few mild small surface spots within visible portion; nearly mint hour and seconds-hand, fine minute hand with oxide to tip; case shows very little wear, no dents or dings, rear enameling is fully intact, band enameling with sizable portions of loss; tight bow, crown shows very little wear; good glass crystal.
